It will make it easier to pick up the pieces after, if you have a home, and what you deserve from the marriage. I am not saying to be greedy, I know I was not. You just need to realize that unfortunately, so many men and woman do cheat. If you go to court with videotape of your husband and the other woman together and a written report from a PI, then you will walk away with your fair share.
Also Ladies, remember, there is hope…. I found the light at the end of the tunnel. The best way to heal is to protect yourself and get the closure necessary. I have seen it done both ways. If you are going through this, call us ~we will listen and help you plan your best move. We won’t push you into a divorce; we will just help you gather the facts, in case it does happen. Well to finish my story, I met my present husband a year after my divorce, and we fell instantly in love. I got my PI license and we became Mr. and Mrs. Detective.
My final word on this, if you think he is cheating, it is probably not your imagination. Don’t confront him, he will become cautious, and you could ruin your chances of getting proof. Call a PI. Get the facts, then call a lawyer. You do a lot better if you go to the lawyer with the facts in hand and you also save money. Don’t talk to anyone about this, if too many people know, he will find out. Final, final word, call us if you need to talk – you are not alone.
