4. Now the work begins, you will need to get a copy of your credit report, and begin contacting any company or credit card that is not legitimate. Make lots of copies of the police report, they will want one. You need to contact them, explain what happened and send them the police report and any other proof they may ask for. Some will also ask for a copy of your license and have you sign your name ten times. This of course is to check for forgery, which also happened to me.
This is not the end of the world, I survived! This is why I wanted to warn all of you so that maybe you won’t go through this. Check your credit report at least once a year, in case there are discrepancies. Above all, be careful; watch out for con men, or women.
