Guide to Houston - Part 2

What better way to EXhale than with a little retail therapy—serious retail therapy.  In the Galleria area, the possibilities are endless.  Walk the mall itself, or park in the garage and walk down Post Oak Lane.  From big names like Neiman Marcus to unique boutiques, you can find anything you want here, or just window shop! (The Galleria: 713-622-0663: www.simon.com/mall/default.aspx?ID=805).  If you want to go for the whole enchilada, make it a weekend at The Houstonian. This elegant yet relaxed hotel is hidden on 18 wooded acres just off the 610 Loop on Post Oak.  Take a quick cab ride over to the Galleria for shopping, then return and luxuriate in a treatment or two at Trellis, the Spa at The Houstonian.  It’s an experience you won’t soon forget. (The Houstonian: 713-680-2626; www.houstonian.com).

As you begin life on a new path, get out there on your own, or take a friend with you.  Either way, the city has everything you need for your journey.
