By Naiya Sivaraj - If you decide to go to EXile in the Maldives, then you’ve made the perfect choice, for escape to these islands means exile in paradise. The view of the aquamarine seas and reefs before you land itself is a soothing experience. The Maldives comprises of 1200 little islands, or atolls, spread out within a short distance from each other on the Indian Ocean. Most of them are uninhabited and those inhabited each have a luxury resort to an island, complete with spas. Luxury in the truest sense of the word. You can indulge yourself to no end here. Staying in a hut built on stilts in the water with a private pool is the ultimate experience, you must agree!
EXpress yourself by trying out something you’ve never done before. How about watercolor painting? Or bring along a great camera to capture all the wonderful tints and shades you see throughout the day.
EXorcise by sunbathing on any of the unending beaches. This is the best time and place to get that exotic bronzed look you’ve always wanted and never got around to getting.
EXplore as many islands as you possibly can with yacht cruises or on boats, either hired or organized by tour operators. The psychedelic sights you witness will keep your senses overloaded and keep you asking for more. It is all unimaginably divine. It will take your mind off old matters. The capital Malé is where most of the locals live. It is of predominantly Islamic culture.
EXhale as this is a place where water sport is abundant and all the resorts have water sport schools. You can hire a personal instructor and learn scuba diving, snorkeling, surfing et cetera. Marine life thrives here and the reefs and underwater sights are as colorful as what you see above.
You may not be feeling like doing anything else at this time. To love and pamper yourself literally (and you need it all the more now), go to the Maldives. The Tourism Promotion Board at 12, Boduthakurufaanu Magu, Malé can help you do just that.
